We supply precision test barrels to your specifications for ballistic test machines and test systems. The internal contours are produced precisely in the micrometre range and reproducibly by electrochemical metal machining. On request, you receive the ready-to-install test barrel from a single source.

In electrochemical metal machining, ECM for short, material inside the barrel is removed electrolytically. This produces precise internal contours without mechanical stress or thermally induced changes to the microstructure. Machining extends from the deep-hole drilled blank to the finished barrel with a uniform land and groove profile.
In addition to classic land and groove profiles, polygonal and progressive geometries are possible. Test barrels with different lengths and internal geometries are manufactured, as are customer-specific special contours. Special internal contours or calibres can also be produced in series.
